Privacy Policy — Claudy!
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Claudy! does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
There is no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising, and no
remote server operated by this extension. Nothing you type, read, or do on
claude.ai is recorded or sent anywhere by Claudy!.
WHAT THE EXTENSION STORES
Claudy! saves only your own settings — the selected theme, font, text size,
sound pack, volume, and the on/off toggles. These are stored with the
browser's storage.sync API, which keeps them in your browser profile and, if
you have browser sync enabled, syncs them between your own signed-in
browsers. They are never sent to the developer or any third party.
Uninstalling the extension removes them.
WHAT THE EXTENSION ACCESSES
Claudy! runs only on https://claude.ai/*. On those pages it applies your
chosen colours and fonts and plays your chosen sounds. It reads keystroke and
click events solely to decide when to play a sound — the content of what you
type is never inspected, stored, or transmitted. It does not read your
conversations and has no access to any other website.
THIRD-PARTY REQUESTS
If — and only if — you select one of the fonts that is not already on your
system or shipped by claude.ai (Inter, Lora, Merriweather, JetBrains Mono,
Courier Prime, Comic Neue), your browser downloads that font from Google
Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). As with any web font
request, Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of serving
the file.
No such request is made on the default setting ("Claude Default"), nor for
the System UI, Classic Serif, or Dyslexia Friendly options, which use fonts
already present on your device or already loaded by claude.ai. If you would
rather make no third-party requests at all, use one of those options.
PERMISSIONS
- storage — to save the settings listed above.
- Host access to claude.ai — to apply the theme, fonts, and sounds on that
site. This is the only site the extension can touch.
