About this extension
BP Geolocation Spoofer is a Firefox location changer for browser GPS spoofing and geolocation testing. Choose the city or custom coordinates websites receive through navigator.geolocation, then reuse that location across your testing sessions.

Test maps, weather, delivery, booking, and other location-based websites without manually entering coordinates in Firefox developer tools every time.

Choose your browser location
  • Switch between saved city profiles, including Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Berlin, and Bucharest.
  • Add custom latitude, longitude, accuracy, and optional altitude.
  • Search for a city or place with OpenStreetMap-based location lookup.
  • Save custom locations for repeatable web development and QA tests.
  • Select real-location mode or turn spoofing off when needed.

Keep trusted sites on your real location

Add websites to Excluded Sites so they can use your real browser geolocation while other sites receive the selected profile. Use the optional movable page badge to see which location is active, and hide or disable it from Settings.

How to change location in Firefox
  1. Open BP Geolocation Spoofer and turn spoofing on.
  2. Choose a saved city or add your own GPS coordinates.
  3. Use Test Location to check the result. Reload existing website tabs after installing or updating the add-on.

Privacy and permissions

Location profiles and site exclusions stay in local Firefox extension storage. Access to websites is used to apply the browser Geolocation API override. The add-on does not collect browsing history, page content, passwords, messages, or payment details.

If you use city search, the typed place query is sent to Photon at photon.komoot.io to return location suggestions. Manual coordinates do not require that lookup.

Browser location only

This add-on changes the location returned by the browser Geolocation API. It does not change your IP address, proxy or VPN, device GPS, timezone, language, or signed-in account location. Websites that infer location from those other signals may show a different place.
