About this extension

Authenticator Cloud brings your two-factor authentication codes to Firefox.

Generate TOTP and HOTP codes locally, including offline. Add accounts by entering a secret, importing a QR image, or scanning a QR code on a webpage. Search accounts, copy or fill a code on a supported website, and import or export a JSON backup.

Optional Pro features include cloud sync across supported browser extensions and the Authenticator Cloud iPhone/iPad app, plus displaying account QR codes. Cloud sync requires an account, an active Pro membership, and an internet connection. Local code generation does not require registration.

Firefox asks for permission before cloud account data is transmitted. Optional usage analytics require separate consent in Firefox; no authenticator secrets or generated codes are included in analytics.

Keep a secure backup of your accounts. Cloud sync is not a substitute for recovery codes provided by the services you protect.
