Aisogen has no backend server — it never collects, stores, or receives your data. Everything happens locally in your browser or as a direct request from your browser to the AI provider you choose using your own API key (Bring Your Own Key).

What's stored locally on your device: your API keys and provider settings, prompt/tone preferences, a capped 20-entry reply history, and (unless disabled) a log of your generations — never transmitted to us.

What's sent to a third party: only when you click Generate, the caption text and your prompt/tone instructions are sent directly from your browser to the single AI provider you've selected, using your own API key. This goes straight to that provider's own servers — never through any server we operate.

Page access: The extension reads caption text only when you click "Get Caption," either automatically on its built-in supported platforms, or after you approve a one-time browser permission prompt on any other site.
