Redefining the companion browser extension

Rayburst Connect sends downloads and discovered media to the Rayburst desktop app. Intercept downloads automatically or send a link from the context menu.

Open Sniffer to browse resources from the current tab or across tabs, filter results, preview supported media and download selections in batches. Inspect HLS/DASH streams and choose available video, audio and subtitle tracks. Optional capture tools support media buffers, playback, screen sharing and WebRTC, subject to browser and site support. Includes site rules, light and dark themes, and 27 interface languages.

Requires Rayburst 4.0.0-beta.2 or later on the same Windows, macOS or Linux computer. Enter the desktop Extension API port and secret in Connection settings; these are separate from Aria2 Next RPC settings.

Selected URLs, headers, cookies and captured media are passed to the local desktop app for your task. Cookie and header forwarding can be disabled. Previews and downloads contact the selected source. No ads, analytics or developer-operated processing servers. DRM-protected media is not supported.
