Sobre esta extensión
Blast distracting elements off any web page with a smoke or explosion animation. Blasted elements stay hidden on your next visit, and you can restore them anytime.
Remove banners, pop-ups, sticky bars and ads from any website with a satisfying smoke or explosion animation. Blasted elements stay hidden every time you return, and you can restore them whenever you like.
Start Blast mode, hover over any part of a page, and click it. The element goes up in smoke or explodes in a fireball with a shockwave and flying debris, and then it's gone.
How it works
Click the Element Blaster toolbar icon and press "Blast elements", or right-click a page and choose "Blast elements".
Hover to highlight an element, then click to blast it.
Press the Up arrow key to select the parent of the highlighted element, which is handy for removing a whole ad slot or banner.
Made a mistake? Press Undo (or Ctrl+Z). Press Done or Esc when you're finished.
Features
Two animations: soft rising smoke, or a full explosion with flash, shockwave rings, fire and debris. Choose one, or let Element Blaster pick at random.
Remembers your choices per website and hides the same elements on every later visit.
Works on iframes such as many ads: hover over an ad and blast the whole frame.
Manage blasted sites: open a separate window listing every site and how many elements you've blasted. Restore a single element, reset one site, or reset everything.
Search: find sites or individual elements instantly, even if your list grows to hundreds of entries.
Light and dark mode friendly.
Privacy
Element Blaster collects no data. Everything it remembers is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. It makes no network requests and contains no tracking or analytics.
Good to know
Elements are remembered using a CSS selector. If a website changes its layout, a blasted element may reappear; just blast it again.
Requires Firefox 140 or newer on desktop.
