Extension Metadata
About this extension
Retyc adds a button to Gmail's compose window so you can send end-to-end encrypted files to your recipients without leaving your inbox. Drop a file anywhere on the Gmail tab, and Retyc encrypts it in your browser before uploading. Nobody else, not even us, can read the contents.
How it works
Your login stays in local browser storage. File contents never leave your browser unencrypted.
How it works
- A "Retyc" button appears in every compose window
- Click it to open a panel right inside Gmail
- Retyc reads the To, Cc and Bcc fields so it knows who you're sharing with
- Pick files or drag them onto the Gmail tab
- Files are encrypted on your machine, then uploaded
- Recipients get a secure link in your email
Your login stays in local browser storage. File contents never leave your browser unencrypted.
