Compatibility2 Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Sorry - Google mangled my previous review post..
Inside the install.rdf file look for the tags
anglebracket em:maxVersion closeanglebracket and change the version number to 3.7 inside all sets of such tags (should be at least three sets) and CustomizeGoodle will now work with version 3.6.8.

This addon does work with current versions of Firefox (versions 3.6 onward) but you have to modify the install.rdf file. Download the .xpi file, rename it a .zip file and unzip it. Use Notepad to edit the install.rdf file Look for the tags (there will be a few of them) "someversionhere tags and change all of them to 3.7 or higher. Then rezip the files (NOT THE FOLDER) and rename the .zip back to .xpi before using mouse > right click > open with Firefox.

Image relinking is broken Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Is this addon dead? It's like years that the direct image relinking on Google Image Search is broken.

Just recently began using SeaMonkey while Firefox gets some of its instabilities seen to. In the meantime is there any way of getting Firefox addons on to SeaMonkey? Also, when are these addons for SeaMonkey going to catch up to version 2.0.4?? Thanks so much.

OptimizeGoogle is a more updated version from this add-on -- last updated (from this review) 12/1/09 with the same appearance and features but with many additions.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/52498

If you do decide to switch to optimizegoogle -- you'll need to uninstall this one and also make sure to write down all your settings because I noticed that once I switched to that one, many of the boxes I had checked on this one weren't checked on that one.

Now if this add-on is updated past that add-on then I'll switch back to this one and so on. It does appear that the max vs has been updated on this one so there may still be hope for this add-on yet so I still give it 5 stars.

Frankly speaking, as much as I appreciate the important work that was done in the past, work that deserved to be rewarded...NOW, with development long ceased, it is somewhat outrageous that 1) the Customizegoogle.com homepage is still asking for new Paypal donations, 2) that same page gives a direct link to the installation files, thus making its visitors install outdated and malfunctional software, and 3) nowhere is a link to be found to the functional successor Optimizegoogle. This is irresponsible behavior, any way you look at it.

No need to install this addon that is no longer supported! Get OptimizeGoogle, which works with current changes Google has made.

5 stars for Lighthouse!

it may be possible to make it work in 3.6, but why bother? It's already been replaced by OptimizeGoogle, which works much better.
