Great to hear this add-on will be updated. Just to let the developer know, the issue, as I reported in this thread back in November, has now reached firefox Beta (36).This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.6.16.1-signed). This user has a previous review of this add-on.
Confirmed. Adding new feeds in 34+ is broken. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (18.104.22.168-signed).
Unfortunately, Speed Dial stopped working with fx Nightly build today. The errors are:
NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80570016 (NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE) [nsIJSCID.getService]
TypeError: SpeedDialPrefObserver is undefined
if this is the end, I shall miss this addon :(
Confirming the "TypeError: O._prefSvc.getBoolPref is not a function". message with the latest update. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.26.20141003.1-signed). This user has 2 previous reviews of this add-on.
Unfortunately, perhaps because I'm on n Linux, I'm not having great success with this addon.
When using 'bubble' translate, selection, I have to use Control+Alt+Mouse, as Alt+Mouse moves the whole window on Xfce. Also, more often that not, I get "Cannot Access Google Translate" however, the context menu - Define in Google Translate works as does Quick Translate mouseover option. Is this because the queries are HTTP and not HTTPS?
Thanks for the reply. As mentioned, I'm using 2.1beta4, however, I don't see options for increasing font size, just three options for changing density - Comfortable, Cosy and Compact - but these seem to do little other than change line spacing. Are there other settings?
As far as creating a stylesheet, I have no problem doing that, however, would it be possible for you to provide the names of the selectors.
I really like this add-on, so much so, I'm now using it in preference to RSSOwl, which I've used for years.
That said, I'd really appreciate the ability to increase the font size in the news pane.
Also, as an aside, I'd also like the ability to remove the 'glow' property used to highlight the selected feed and instead change the feed name to a different colour
Currently using 2.1beta4 on Thunderbird/Arch Linux
I really like the add-on, however, is there a possibility we can have an option to change the button style. On my box the button is enormous when placed on the left.
I guess we can just use userChrome...
Any chance of updating this to work with Nightly builds?
Thanks for the reply (and the lecture) I'll just continue using scripts.
Unfortunately, it looks like the most recent Nightly has broken a number of extensions, Omnibar among them :(This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.17.20130121.1-signed). This user has other reviews of this add-on.
I like this addon a lot but something broke when using Omnibar and the most recent Nightly builds (last 2 or 3 days). Essentially, with Omnibar enabled, the context menu displays every possible option, when attempting tasks, such as coping text or a URLThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.14.20120803.1-signed).
Interesting addon. Unfortunately, however, the about:Cheevos URL fails to load on the Nightly 64 bit buildsThis review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.1-signed).
Thanks for a great addon, but as reported by others elsewhere, if breaks when use in conjunction with HTTPS-Everywhere. One solution is to disable the googleapis rule in HTTPS-Everywhere, but the developer of gtranslate was able to fix his addon to work correctly: http://code.google.com/p/gtranslate/issues/detail?id=45 It would be great if you could do something similar. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.9.1-signed).
Interesting addon, but I can't seem to find way to display both the ipv6 and ipv4 addresses in the status/addon bar, where the site has both, simultaneously. I appreciate both are available on hover. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (22.214.171.124-signed).
As an update to my earlier post, I'm now using 11.03.25.01. Unfortunately, text still disappears and re-appears in text boxes. This is particularly noticeable in 'Reply' boxes on forums.
However, the problems I had with text on tabs and bookmarks seems to be fixed. So thank you for that :)
This is a wonderful and much needed addon, however, as others have noted, it has some serious side effects:
1. Text on tabs disappears and reappears at random
2. Text in Bookmark lists disappears and reappears at random when scrolling.
3. Text in text areas, such as this one, disappears and reappears. This can be forced by pressing enter at the end of a line
The test will vanish and reappear within a few seconds.
Thanks for providing this extension, it's very much appreciated. It's just a shame that the devs have completely lost control of the UI design and we have to correct their idiotic mistakes with extensions. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.5).
Wonderful extension that I miss dearly. Are we any closer to an update for fx4, preferably 4.0b8 and up?
Totally indispensable, Thank you.
+1 for adding 'Tags' they would really add some extra power.
I know you've just released this but it's already out of date, as fx4 is now at 4.0b3pre.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.2.1).
