Even after removing this add-on, "Ant.com Toolbar 2.0.1" shows up in my browser string ("About Firefox"). What's the deal with that? Why does it even need to be added to the browser string? No reflection on functionality of the plug-in itself, however, which I scantly used. This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.1).
Just a basic search plugin, but can't see any reason why it's experimental. Works fine.
I really rely on this extension, and it's pretty good, but it does have one annoyance (imho) especially for those of us on flaky (read: wifi or college - or worse, college wifi) networks. When you choose "Logout All Accounts" as I do when my connection is sporadic, it logs all the accounts out as you'd expect (unless it's already in the middle of a check) but doesn't turn off the timers, so they log right back in momentarily - or try to.This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.5.7.4).
I really like this add-on, but discovered it doesn't work with IE Tab extension if a tab using IE's engine (which I still need for a crappy site or two) has the focus. Not a big deal by any means, but if you use IE Tab and pressing ALT makes you panic that you can't get your menus, just switch to another (firefox rendered) tab. ;)This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.20080706).
General note to people interested in using this add-on with FF3 - it is NOT made compatible with the typical workaround methods (editing the install.rdf, nightly tester tools, turning off compatibility checking). While the extension installs, it makes the tab on the end icon-only (no title) and effectively serves no purpose. Wait for a compatible update - which I hope is forthcoming (double clicking when you\'ve got a bunch of tabs open already is a real annoyance!). Tested on FF3b4
This is a handy extension, especially useful for me when looking for nesting errors in my handcoded div's. Would be nice if it would load its output in a new tab. Nice work! This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.5.02).
This subtle color change really improves the vista look overall - without making it look like IE7 - thanks!
