- Rated 5 out of 5by Lily, 2 months agoDecided to download again to see if issues on youtube still were there, and I'm glad to say it's working well now! :) I like this extension a lot, thanks!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Jellus01, 3 months agoDoesn't work on vods that have been hidden. Other than that works great.

- Rated 5 out of 5by aloola, 5 months agoIt would be even better if we had an option to make the YouTube header show/hide on mouse hover. Instead of just 2 options hide or show atm.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Eric W, 5 months agoI'm a longtime user of the Chrome version and just moved to Firefox. YouTube's stock layouts for streams with chat are terrible enough to make this extension one of the essentials. I've never had problems with it, and the dev is quick with any necessary fixes (due to YouTube changing things).
In case it might save someone some trouble with initial setup, make sure you right-click the extension and enable Always Allow on www.youtube.com. I spent a good few minutes trying to figure out why it wasn't working before seeing that step mentioned elsewhere. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13461850, 7 months agoWorks great. Also the developer fixes problems quickly(because of YouTube changes)
- Rated 5 out of 5by scoot, 8 months agoThe features introduced by this extension are so simple and obvious that I can't stomach using YouTube's default half-baked theater mode anymore.
The dev is also very quick to push updates when the Google engineers get bored and decide to start tinkering with YouTube's backend.
Highly recommend! - Rated 5 out of 5by Billy J, 8 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by tutuhaha, 8 months agoWorks like a charm, easy to access, easy to modify almost every aspect of it, and regularly updated if youtube breaks something.
I hope I'm rich enough to donate, but leaving 5 star rating and some comments is best I can do. - Rated 5 out of 5by Flum, 9 months agoThe "Prevent the video from pausing when clicking on it while in livestreams theater mode" option doesn't seem to work anymore.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Genomu, 10 months agoI have tried a lot of extensions and scripts like this, but this one is definitely the best one I tried so far. The only problem I have with this is that even non-live videos keep switching to theater mode for some reason which is annoying.Hopefully that gets fixed if possible.

posted 10 months agoThis was caused by a change from YouTube but should already be fixed with version 4.0.1, please make sure you are updated to the newest version.- Rated 5 out of 5by Knytely, a year ago

Developer response
posted a year agoThank you for the feedback. I have fixed the two compatibility issues I found with the 'Enhancer for YouTube' browser extension:
- Layout issues in livestreams theater mode have been fixed (with active option 'Control bar location: Below the video player' in 'Enhancer for YouTube')
- Stream info overlay should now always appear as intended - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15649197, a year agogenius.. just like twitch.
Also works well with the github "YouTubePatchCollection" (revert to previous youtube display)
