- by sundar, 6 years agoRated 5 out of 5For people who wish some simple Vim bindings but don't want the huge and complex ecosystem of Pentadactyl, this is the perfect addon. Works and keeps working through the various Firefox and Palemoon versions, has made my my daily browsing that much easier.
- by Carlo Bertoldi, 9 years agoRated 5 out of 5If you'd like to have a little bit more of Vim, add this two lines to vimkeybindings.xml inside the xpi
The second one may be redundant if you're used to pressing the space bar ;)

I tried vimperator a couple years ago and didn't like it much.
I recently tried pentadactyl, a superior fork of vimperator. I liked it a lot, it does what it does very well (I recommend it), but ultimately disabled it because I found it did more than I really wanted.
vimkeybindings gives me all that I really used with pleasure in pentadactyl: hjklgG.
- by Christopher Svec, 9 years agoRated 5 out of 5Perfect light weight vim keybindings, though it would be nice if the developer listed the keybindings in a preference in the addon or at least on this web page.
Here they are, from the 1.4 release:
h : scroll left
j : scroll down
k : scroll up
l : scroll right
g : go to the top of the page
G (shift-g) : go to the bottom of the page
You can find that info in the content/vimkeybindings.xml file if you unzip the .xpi file instead of installing it within firefox.
