Very effective with blocking any advertising. Unfortunaltely, it goes a bit too far and also blocks desireable features, for example, it blocks Webex from opening in the app, which is a productivity killer for me. Adding a website to the whitelist is not very convenient as well.

Last version 1.49.2 cant block Youtube video ads.

It hasn't been able to play youtube videos for a while, hangs a lot or doesn't play at all.

Mozilla locked several ad-block add-ons from China mainland, without consent from users and devs! How could Mozilla become like this?

I added this because I'm constantly getting pop-ups from auto dealer websites - to the point that I have trouble viewing the content of the website itself. This does absolutely nothing to stop those pop-ups.
