posted 6 years agoFF 56 and 57 have some issues with toolbar action icons. Those will be resolved in FF 58.
Credentials are currently used only for extensions internal communication. Automatic login is planned, but is a bit tricky with some clients.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Oz, a month agoUnlike Remote Torrent Adder, this extension actually works. A must have as far as I'm concerned. Highly recommended.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Conkuist, 2 months agoCustom URL matching is really nice and works well but the torrents only get added to qBittorrent when I disable authentication. Seems like Torrent Control can't login despite having the correct username and password. I don't get any errors so I can't be sure if that is actually the case or not. All I know is that when authentication is enabled it stops working.
Sadly, this makes this Extension useless to me.
Edit: For some reason https was checked in the qbittorrent webui options. After unckecking https it worked. - Rated 5 out of 5by nowix, 2 months ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Ace, a year agoOnce figured out I'm now able to access my remote torrent clients (deluge) web UI through the add-on, however it refuses to grab torrent files; EVERYTIME I get a "403 failed to get torrent" error (don't recall exact wording).

- Rated 2 out of 5by ypk, 2 years agoDoes work with rutorrent and htaccess based access. However, the combination of labels and folders is impossible - it's either one or the other.
Configuration also isn't very intuitive, could use some clearer language or documentation.
Finally adding more than a 2-3 click add to torrent, why not make it a handler when downloading files? If it's there, it definitely doesn't work here.
The point of this is to add multiple torrents fairly conviently, I find this plugin barely adds any value compared to going back and forth with the ruttorent tab. - Rated 5 out of 5by ranko091, 2 years agoVery nice addon. no more jumping thru dialogs. just simple and effective. keep it up.
