About this extension
TermLens helps you understand what you’re agreeing to before you click “Accept.” On pages that look like terms of service, privacy policies, or similar agreements, open the extension and run Analyze. You get a concise breakdown: a risk-style score, notable clauses, plain-language “what this means for you”, and suggested next steps—without reading pages of legal text.
How it works-
When you analyze a page, the extension reads the visible text on that tab and sends it to the TermLens service to generate the summary. Nothing runs on every site automatically—you choose when to analyze.
What you can customize
Depending on your plan, you may be able to track sites you care about, tune how aggressively the extension detects “agreement-style” pages, and (on supported plans) connect your own API key if you prefer to bring your own model.
Privacy & data-
The extension needs permission to read page content when you use it so it can extract agreement text from the active tab. Network access is limited to TermLens’s API (and optional local development endpoints). See the developer’s privacy policy for full details on what is sent and how long it is retained.
Requirements-
An internet connection is required to request analysis. The experience is designed for desktop Firefox as shipped other browsers or versions may vary.
