About this extension

Tab Groups Sync lets you organize your tabs into groups and switch between them instantly. It is an independent fork of Simple Tab Groups by Drive4ik (MPL-2.0), adding two things on top:

• Cloud sync across devices via your own private GitHub Gist — your groups and tabs stay in your GitHub account, never on a third-party server.
• Group-scoped pinned tabs — pin tabs to a specific group instead of globally.

- Backup and restore your groups and settings
- Dark theme and custom icons

Sync is optional and off by default. It stores data only in a private Gist you control, using a token you provide; nothing is sent to the developer.
