In order to use syncmarx it is required that you authenticate with a cloud file hosting service via OAuth 2.0. For security purposes, any tokens generated for use with syncmarx are created outside of the extension, and must be pasted back in manually. Once a token has been entered, it stored within isolated web storage unique to the extension. Any subsequent API calls utilizing this token are made via secure HTTPS against their respective third-party cloud file hosting services.
Any data generated by syncmarx in corresponding cloud file host accounts is restricted to storage dedicated to the syncmarx app. Therefore syncmarx will never have access to files generated outside of the application, nor is it possible for syncmarx to access any personal information from associated third-party cloud file host accounts.
