About this extension

Switch between search engines without retyping your query. Click the toolbar icon on any search results page and your current search instantly opens in the next engine.

A float bar at the bottom of search pages lets you jump to any engine directly. You choose which engines appear and in what order.

Built-in engines: DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Brave, Gibiru, MetaGer, You.com, StartPage, Yahoo OneSearch, Bing, Google, Yandex, Yahoo!, Yahoo! JAPAN, goo, Wikipedia

You can edit these engines' URLs and also add any search engine not on this list by entering its name, domain, and search URL.

Developer comments

This extension has no build process. All JavaScript files are plain ES5/ES6, no minification or bundling. The submitted zip is identical to the source code.
The extension uses:

tabs permission to read the current URL and redirect to the selected engine
storage permission to save user preferences locally
Host permissions to inject the float bar on search result pages
