- Rated 2 out of 5by Jormungandr, 18 days agoGreat concept and I have been using it for quite some time now but a few days ago it just stopped skipping segments. And no, my settings are not wrong. It doesn't even promp that there is a segment, they're just shown in the progress bar and nothing more.

posted 8 months agoUnfortunately the server broke while I was away from my computer. Things should be back to normal now :) - Rated 2 out of 5by ㅤㅤ, a year agoWonderful add-on. Sometimes however it won't load in the YT interface, so I have to reload the tab to make appear its icons.
- Rated 2 out of 5by gabe, a year agonot currently working on youtube 9/11/23
edit: youtube video is removed from the page and a generic "adblockers aren't allowed" banner is in its place. no way to remove it, and seems the video is not actually present. i'm in ontario.Developer response
posted a year agoEdit: SponsorBlock is not a traditional adblocker and does not trigger that error, that is caused by other adblockers. I suggest uninstalling all of them and replacing them with uBlock Origin
What's the issue? - Rated 2 out of 5by Muppet, 2 years agoNo idea if this issue with firefox but im sometimes seeing it not function, also if it skips it cancels picture in picture at times, again not sure if cos of sponsorblock or cos of firefox, maybe can do something about this, atleast the first bug thanks.

posted 2 years agoNot something I've seen reported, so might be something else causing it - Rated 2 out of 5by Rhomboid Goatcabin, 2 years agoBrilliant when it's working, but relies on a server that is down more often than not.
- Rated 2 out of 5by ThunderingRoar, 2 years agoOne of the most useful addons but its been working less and less lately. Tried disabling other addons like UBO and violentmonkey, even tried disabling firefox strick blocking but still sometimes it just doesnt load the sponsored segments on videos.
As experiment i tried watching some LTT videos on Edge as my secondary browser with everything except sponsorblock disabled and a lot of the times it still wouldnt work ) : - Rated 2 out of 5by Anonymous, 3 years agoWhat happened???
i get the colored bar on bottom utube videos, but no longer are they auto skipped like i set it up. used to work before im wondering if creator sold out to the whales ($) i am willing to pay for a lifetime license as long as you don't sell out to those that fight against work such as this, there has to be a solid i will not sellout and stick for the people instead of the scummy $ billionares, PLEASEDeveloper response

Disable "forceChannelCheck" or wait for 4.4.5 to roll out - Rated 2 out of 5by Edward Nordway, 3 years agoРасширение постоянно отваливается! Приходится постоянно выключать и включать расширение, чтобы оно снова заработало! И так по несколько раз на дню.
The extension keeps crashing! I need to disable and enable the extension for it to work again! And so several times a day.Developer response
posted 3 years agoThis might be a coincidence, there were some intermittent server issues today - Rated 2 out of 5by Cindy P, 3 years agoFor those looking to skip in-video ads and other annoyances, this extension is awesome. Almost every video I watch now has segments that are seamlessly skipped.
For those looking to help out and submit segments to the database, this extension is a nightmare. In just a few weeks of doing this, I had multiple "VIP" users of the extension stalk and harass me on social media after I was quick to submit segments on new videos in their "territory" (i.e. large channels). The extension provides a submission "leaderboard" that drives this toxic behavior.Developer response
posted 3 years agoplease email me with more information and I can ban them. No one has told me of anything like that happening before. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15593759, 3 years ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 14527668, 3 years agoJust checked Muppet's link, and yup, when I clicked downvote button it says "Vote rejected: A moderator has decided that this segment is correct". What's worse is that "Whitelist channel" button also doesn't work, with error "Channel ID is not loaded yet.", which would be the only way to listen to this song fully without disabling skipping Non-Music and intermission segments.

posted 3 years ago2 stars just because one extra feature doesn't work?
The addon is using the HTML elements to determine the channel id, so it is probably another addon interfering, see https://github.com/ajayyy/SponsorBlock/issues/766 - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16891941, 4 years ago
