About this extension
SnapFold is a screenshot tool for webpages that go beyond a normal page capture. Firefox's built-in screenshot tool can't see content that is scrolled away inside the page — SnapFold unfolds it first, so the image contains what the page actually holds.
Capture:
This is useful for dashboards, web apps, chat windows, tables, settings panels, embedded tools, and other pages where the content you need sits inside a scrollable section rather than the main page.
After the shot, you choose what happens: open a preview tab with Download and Copy buttons, download straight away, or copy straight to the clipboard. Settings let you pick the image format (PNG or JPEG with quality), a filename prefix, a download subfolder, and more — the settings page includes a full how-to-use guide.
Privacy: screenshots are processed locally in Firefox. SnapFold does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. No analytics, tracking, external servers, or third-party services.
Known limits: Firefox blocks extensions on its own pages (about:*, addons.mozilla.org, the PDF viewer). Fixed/sticky headers appear once at the top of full-page shots. Infinite feeds that recycle rows can leave gaps. Requires Firefox 96+.
Capture:
- The visible part of the current tab
- A complete webpage, with iframes and inner scroll panels expanded first
- A selected page element, fully scrolled out
- Independently scrollable inner panels and scrollable content inside iframes
