- Rated 5 out of 5by skip, a month agoSplendid add-on! Switched back to FF from Edge when found out about Sidetabs, been using it for half a year or so, and it just delivers on its promises. Thank you!
I only wish tab grouping also came with this thing, but it's good nevertheless. - Rated 3 out of 5by BarinaRoy, 2 months agoLooks like what I needed! but it does take away some built-in functionalities..
Like exchanging tabs, aka the ability to drag tabs "out" to a new or different window.
Right click -> close tabs below\above.
Drag text, links or other "objects" into or beside existing tabs to open new (or that existing) tab and search the item for ex.
In short, it doesn't act like FireFox's default tab system yet.
It also collides with other tabs that happen to reside on the same side like the history tab.
While I did gained more real-estate, my productivity were impacted.. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17678141, 2 months agoVery good would be perfect if have option to group tabs

- Rated 5 out of 5by Adam Shand, 3 months agoLack of a narrow sidebar like Brave is the one thing that's been holding me back from coming back to Firefox.
Love it, thank you! - Rated 2 out of 5by Dajova, 4 months agoBreaks every time you restart the browser, forcing me to reinstall the extension to fix it. Not sure if it's just me, but had no such issues with Sideberry.
Developer response
posted 4 months agoHi Dajova. Thank you for letting me know about this issue.
I'd like to fix this problem, but I haven't been able to reproduce it. Could you tell me what operating system and version of Firefox you're using? It'd be helpful if you could report this here: https://github.com/jeb5/Sidetabs/issues
Thanks,

- Rated 4 out of 5by jujpenabe, 4 months agoIntegrates well with themes, the expand sidebar on hover doesn't work for me (librewolf-firedragon). It would be good to have an option of 'alternative colors' in rows to see multiple tabs more clearly.

- Rated 5 out of 5by watham, 5 months agoAbsolutely love this extension. I also love the support for using it with userChrome.css as this has really made my vertical experience with Firefox much nicer.
With this extension and the sliding alternative in userChrome.css I really, finally, feel like the browser is out of the way of using it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Alex, 5 months agoThis is exactly what I have been looking for.
The userChrome.css instructions and generation is great. Thank you for your work on this. :)
I did have a slight issue getting slim bar and hiding the title bar and windows controls to work. I tried using other css I found online which caused other issues.
Then I removed it and used only your generated css and then it started working as expect so maybe it was a caching issue. - Rated 5 out of 5by MultiverShaun, 6 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Quanh Tran, 6 months agoLooks and functions the closest to vertical tabs on Microsoft Edge in my opinion among the other add-ons I have tried so far like Sideberry, TreeStyleTabs. One thing I would like to see is an option to make the tabs' icons/title bigger so that it could be easier to click on.
- Rated 4 out of 5by SixthStreet, 6 months agoA good straight-forward simple extension for vertical tabs without bloat. Two features I'd like to see: (1) Double click to close tabs (important for Mac laptop users as middle click is not available on trackpad) and (2) Respect Simple Tab Groups tab groupings and display only tabs for the active group. Many other vertical tab extensions can do this.
- Rated 5 out of 5by alex, 6 months agoThis is exactly what I wanted for vertical tabs. Clean UI, matches my firefox theme, and it just works. I really like the copy-paste user chrome as well.

- Rated 5 out of 5by molipando, 9 months agoThis is the extension that really feels like a native sidebar. It works great with themes. The design is simple but powerful.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 17992667, 10 months agoBeautiful UI! Better pinned tab without text and add tabsearch
- Rated 3 out of 5by hacKim, a year ago1-Pinned tabs looks half cutted.
2-There is no tabs scrollbar
3-There is no search box - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 11915108, a year agoFinally, a theme-friendly and Waterfox-friendly addon so I can tolerate looking at my vertical tabs (which I must have). More than tolerate, I can hardly believe the vertical tab sidebar has finally just become part of a fully themed interface, and I can enjoy the increased productivity without the constant irritation of my tabs looking different from the rest of the interface.
