Sign in and account status
Users can sign in to the Platform via the Firefox extension. Once signed in, the extension checks whether the user has an active Robin subscription, and attempts to load information about the user's Robin account.
User setting storage
Registered users can adjust certain Firefox settings, including time zone preferences and date formatting. These settings may be synchronized to other Robin applications used by the user.
Event Scheduling + Enrichment
When scheduling a meeting, Robin's extension will contact Robin's servers to look up the associated invitee emails and display additional information about them. Example: A conference room's amenities. When editing an existing event, the extension will contact Robin's servers to fetch additional information about the event.
When accessing the pop up modal via the extension icon, the extension will contact Robin's servers and attempt to load a preview of upcoming events on the user's schedule. This request is made periodically to make sure the schedule is up to date.
