    Version 2.4.0

    Released Feb 21, 2026 - 48.96 KB
Works with firefox 142.0 and later
    Highlights
    • Completed the full comments improvement roadmap across foundations, power UX, and depth/performance.
    • Upgraded smart comments curation with better visibility planning and stronger regression coverage.
    • Improved markdown export for humans and agents with explicit structural fields and deep-load metadata.
    • Introduced the Smart Comments Curation planner (single-toggle mode) for better deep-thread expansion and low-value collapse behavior.
    • Improved comment export/readability contract in Markdown flows and strengthened related reliability/docs coverage.
    • Refreshed core dev dependencies and lockfile to current patch/minor releases.

    Added
    • Branch-scoped deep comment loading via Reddit morechildren with bounded request/node/time budgets.
    • Chunked comments rendering for large threads to keep the UI responsive.
    • In-thread search (author: support), bulk thread actions, and markdown download actions.
    • Additional export metadata: deep_loaded, deep_load_scope, deep_load_truncated.

    Changed
    • Unified and hardened comment visibility behavior (smart mode + search expansion interactions).
    • Improved plan/document lifecycle by moving finished plans to plans/completed/.
    • Updated CI/tooling baselines, including ESLint v10 + typescript-eslint integration and action pin refreshes.

    Fixed
    • Deep-load/cache state consistency around marker-style hasMore vs placeholder-derived availability.
    • Depth-boundary parsing so more placeholders are retained for later deep loading.
    • Permalink fallback edge cases and test mock isolation issues.
