PS Inspector by Colin Schenk

PS Inspector adds a sidebar panel to Firefox that helps PeopleSoft developers and administrators identify fields and page details without needing to open App Designer or navigate through PeopleSoft menus.

Features:

Page Information
- Displays Menu, Component, Page, Environment, Server and PeopleTools Version
- Works across Classic and Fluid PeopleSoft interfaces
- Gracefully handles environments where connection info is hidden by administrators

Field Inspector
- Highlights all interactive fields on the current PeopleSoft page
- Hover over any field to see its name in the sidebar
- Click to lock a field — border turns red and field name is pinned in the panel
- Copy the locked field name to clipboard with one click

Field History
- Automatically records the last 10 locked fields
- Persists across browser sessions
- Displays field name and Menu/Component location for each entry
- Clear button to wipe history when needed

PS Inspector works on both Classic and Fluid PeopleSoft pages and handles production environments where connection information has been hidden by administrators.

The sidebar can also be toggled at any time using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Y.
