What stays in your browser
Pickode reads the web pages you choose to inspect (HTML, stylesheets and loaded resources) only to show, export and analyze them on your device. We do not collect, store, sell or share your browsing history, the content of the pages you inspect or any other personal data. Pickode has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising code.
Data stored on your device
Settings, CSS you save for a site, your Library of saved items and the license status are kept in the extension's storage in your browser until you delete them or uninstall Pickode.
Requests to the site you analyze
When you run certain checks (SEO, GEO, Debug, assets), Pickode requests files such as robots.txt, llms.txt, the sitemap and the page's images directly from the website you are analyzing. Nothing is sent to us.
License key (optional, Pro only)
When you activate a Pro license, the extension sends the license key, a random identifier for this browser and a browser name (for example "Pickode · Firefox · macOS") to Freemius (api.freemius.com), our payment provider and merchant of record, to activate it and to check it about once a week. No browsing data is sent. Firefox asks for your consent before the first activation. Freemius privacy policy: https://freemius.com/privacy/
Google Drive sync (optional)
If you connect Google Drive, the items in your Library (saved components, design tokens, palettes and Lottie animations) are uploaded directly from your browser to a "Pickode" folder in your own Google Drive. Pickode uses only the drive.file scope, so it can access only the files it created. Firefox asks for your consent before the first upload. You can disconnect at any time; files stay in your Drive until you delete them. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@pickode.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or your local authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update it here and at https://pickode.com/privacy before releasing the new version.
