PasteField adds a smart, customizable paste button near text fields, textareas and many rich text editors. It is designed to make repetitive pasting faster, cleaner and more comfortable on websites where you often copy and paste text.

The main button lets you paste clipboard text into the active field with one click. PasteField can also be configured to paste and then immediately trigger a send action, or to display a separate Send button next to the Paste button when a real visible send/submit button exists on the page.

This makes PasteField useful for chat interfaces, messaging tools, web forms, AI assistants, support tools, admin panels and any website where you frequently paste prepared text.

PasteField supports three send behaviors:

• Paste only: the button only pastes clipboard text.
• Paste + Send: the same button pastes the text and then attempts to send it.
• Separate Send button: Paste and Send are shown as two distinct buttons, so you can paste first and decide manually whether to send.

Special care has been given to button placement and alignment. The extension calculates the position of the complete button group, not just the first button, so Paste and Send stay visually aligned when both are displayed. You can adjust vertical and horizontal placement, offsets, spacing between buttons, opacity, theme, size and custom height.

Both buttons can be customized separately. You can choose the text, use icon-only mode, text-only mode, icon on the left, or icon on the right. PasteField includes default French and English labels, and the interface can automatically follow the browser language or be forced to English.

Privacy:
PasteField reads the clipboard only after a direct user action, such as clicking the Paste button or using the optional shortcut. It does not collect data, does not use external servers, does not inject remote code, and does not send clipboard content anywhere by itself. The optional Send feature only attempts to activate a visible send/submit control already present on the current page.



PasteField ajoute un bouton de collage intelligent et personnalisable près des champs de texte, zones de saisie et nombreux éditeurs riches. Il est conçu pour rendre les collages répétitifs plus rapides, plus propres et plus confortables sur les sites où l’on copie-colle souvent du texte.

Le bouton principal permet de coller le contenu du presse-papiers dans le champ actif en un clic. PasteField peut aussi être configuré pour coller puis déclencher immédiatement une action d’envoi, ou pour afficher un bouton Envoyer séparé à côté du bouton Coller lorsqu’un vrai bouton d’envoi visible existe sur la page.

PasteField est utile pour les interfaces de chat, messageries, formulaires web, assistants IA, outils de support, panneaux d’administration et tout site où l’on colle régulièrement du texte préparé.

PasteField propose trois comportements d’envoi :

• Coller seulement : le bouton colle uniquement le contenu du presse-papiers.
• Coller + envoyer : le même bouton colle le texte puis tente de l’envoyer.
• Bouton Envoyer séparé : Coller et Envoyer sont affichés comme deux boutons distincts, afin de coller d’abord puis décider manuellement d’envoyer ou non.

Un soin particulier a été apporté au placement et à l’alignement des boutons. L’extension calcule la position du groupe complet de boutons, et pas seulement du premier bouton, afin que Coller et Envoyer restent correctement alignés lorsqu’ils sont affichés ensemble. Vous pouvez ajuster la position verticale et horizontale, les offsets, l’espacement entre boutons, l’opacité, le thème, la taille et la hauteur personnalisée.

Les deux boutons peuvent être personnalisés séparément. Vous pouvez choisir le texte, utiliser un affichage avec icône seule, texte seul, icône à gauche ou icône à droite. PasteField inclut des libellés par défaut en français et en anglais, et l’interface peut suivre automatiquement la langue du navigateur ou être forcée en anglais.

Confidentialité :
PasteField lit le presse-papiers uniquement après une action directe de l’utilisateur, comme un clic sur le bouton Coller ou l’utilisation du raccourci optionnel. L’extension ne collecte aucune donnée, n’utilise aucun serveur externe, n’injecte aucun code distant et n’envoie pas le contenu du presse-papiers par elle-même. La fonction Envoyer optionnelle tente seulement d’activer un bouton d’envoi visible déjà présent sur la page courante.
