- Rated 1 out of 5by kawi, 2 years agoSlowed down my browser startup times to a crawl, taking 2 minutes on each launch to even begin to load up a page. Good concept, terrible execution.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Thanballs, 3 years agoI tried this for a day or two. It broke a website (Twitch, I think it was) and I tried to find the "disable for this website" option, but there was none! In which case, I knew that any time this extension breaks a website I'd have to go all the way to the addons page to disable it (since there's no way to right-click and disable an extension). But why should I have to disable the whole extension for one page, and then have to remember to turn it on later when I visit another page? Just let me disable it for that domain.
Also, yes, the little ninja that appears is a bit annoying. If there are no cookie banners, I know that the extension is working. I don't need an extra element added to the page so I know the extension is providing value.
I've decided to go back to "I don't care about cookies". Even though it auto-accepts-all cookies, that's ok because I have privacy badger AND ublock origin preventing tracking from taking place. So there's no need for an extension like Cookie Ninja to do complicated opt-out functions on every page. I'm already protected by my other extensions.
Maybe with some more improvements and less of a superior attitude of how this extension is better than other similar extensions, team Ninja Cookie will have a decent extension for us. - Rated 2 out of 5by Drago, 3 years agoSometimes useful addon. It detects a few cookie banners not handled by "Don't care about cookies", but overall much less than the all-time favorite.
But unfortunately it also blocks important things like reCaptchas. So the website is no longer functional and the addon has to be deactivated again and again!

By the way, there should be no pay variant. Superfluous advertising is not something you should continually pay money to get rid of.... (to support the developers financially is recommendable, but morally not compatible with a half-forced subscription membership...)

Unfortunately, the last 5%, there's an occasional tab near-freeze state that comes from a partial incompatibility with Facebook Container, apparently ( https://github.com/mozilla/contain-facebook/issues/757 ). - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16850387, 3 years ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16732284, 3 years agoSi certaines pages contiennent encore des bandeaux pour les cookies, bon nombre de sites en sont épurés. Un plaisir. Merci.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Speedlulu, 3 years agoA pop up appears on every page after install, I don't care if it appears only on day +0, +7 and +30 I don't want a freaking message telling me to give you money to get rid of it.
You say that you implemented a pay what you want subscription plan to get rid of the message, but If we don't give you money the message only disappears for 30 days, and even if it worked I don't want to have to give you my email and have a license to not have a pop up on every page.
Removed and reported to Mozilla. - Rated 5 out of 5by weltenschmid, 3 years agoLuckily downloaded this gadget before my head exploded clicking away all these popping cookie messages. It doesn't get them all, but I am happy to have a normal surf experience again. Damn bureaucratics!
- Rated 5 out of 5by Maschmalow, 3 years agoThe only addon that aims to legitimately auto-refuse cookies. It's a bit rough on the edges, but that's expected given how young the exentension is. I hope they will be able to release the source soon.

Developer response
posted 3 years agoHello,
Ninja Cookie is free, doesn’t display 3rd party ads, doesn’t collect or sell data. We cannot make a living out of Ninja Cookie’s freeness. To fund the development, we offer a premium version. For more openness and flexibility, we have opted for a “Pay What You Want” fee.
To promote the premium features, Ninja Cookie displays a single message at day+0, day+7, and day+30 after installation. This way, we hope we are not too intrusive. If more messages are displayed, it's because of a bug. We would be really happy to have more information to fix it through our contact form https://ninja-cookie.com/contact/
Please let us know!
