ListGrab — Copy Any List or Dropdown by YourITSup

About this extension
Ever tried to copy a long dropdown, a list of email addresses, or one column of a table? You drag, you miss a row, you scroll, the selection jumps, and you end up pasting half the page.

ListGrab does it in one click. Right-click anywhere in a list and choose "Copy list". That's it — every item lands on your clipboard, clean.

FREE, FOREVER
No account. No sign-up. No trial. No upsell. No ads.

WHAT IT CAN COPY
• Bulleted and numbered lists
• Dropdown menus — including the "fancy" ones (Select2, Chosen, Selectize) used by business apps like ServiceDesk Plus, where the real dropdown is hidden
• A single table column — right-click a cell, get that column
• A whole table, row by row
• Menus, listboxes, tabs, trees, radio groups and other ARIA lists
• Lists built out of plain divs by React, Angular and Vue
• Definition lists, as "term: definition" pairs

IT COPIES THE FIELD YOU CLICKED, NOT THE WHOLE ROW
Rows are noisy. A member list might read "ada@example.com · Admin · Remove" on every line. Right-click one of the email addresses and you get only the email addresses. Right-click a role and you get the roles. Buttons, icons, avatars and screen-reader-only text are stripped out automatically.

ONE MENU ITEM, NOTHING TO LEARN
The right-click menu has exactly one entry, and it counts what it found before you click it — so it reads "Copy 30 items", not a vague "Copy list". The list it took flashes blue on the page afterwards, so you can see exactly what was grabbed. Prefer the keyboard? Ctrl+Shift+L (Cmd+Shift+L on Mac) copies the list under your cursor.

PASTE IT HOW YOU NEED IT
Plain lines by default. Switch to bulleted, numbered, comma separated, CSV, JSON or Markdown from the toolbar popup — handy for pasting into a spreadsheet, a ticket, a document or code.

SEE EVERY LIST ON A PAGE
Click the toolbar icon and ListGrab shows every list it can find with an item count and a preview, so you can copy one without hunting for the right spot — or take the whole page at once.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ListGrab has no network code at all. It cannot phone home, because there is nowhere to phone. Nothing you copy is stored, logged, uploaded or analysed. There are no analytics, no trackers, no remote configuration and no third-party code of any kind. Your settings are the only thing saved, and they are saved by your own browser.

WHY IT NEEDS THE PERMISSIONS IT ASKS FOR
ListGrab asks for as little as it can — two permissions, and nothing else.
• Read the page you are on — to find the list under your cursor. It only reads after you right-click, and it never sends anything anywhere.
• Storage — to remember your chosen format and preferences.
• Context menu — to add the "Copy list" entry to your right-click menu.

Available for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox.
