- Rated 4 out of 5by Kaeryn, 2 months agoI think this add on is very useful. although my one complaint is that when you try to block websites during a specific time-frame like from 23:00 to 09:00 it just doesn't work. It might just be user error, though it is a shame that such a large function doesn't work very well

- Rated 4 out of 5by Ipasd, 3 months agoThanks to this add-on, I think I'm finally on my way to overcome my surfing addiction.
This add-on has many different options to allow different kinds of blocking and also allows you to put them in groups called 'sets.' For example, you can block a website you never want to go on, block a website on certain times of the day, and websites that aren't blocked at all. All of these options can be activated simultaneously and that is what I think makes this add-on better than most others of the same purpose, where they generally only allow blocking and nothing else.
My only complaints (explaining the 4 stars instead of 5) are that the interface isn't as nice as it could be. I would like to be able to get to all the options without having to scroll a lot. Another complaint is that some descriptions don't feel quite as clear until you enable them for yourself. - Rated 4 out of 5by Antun, 3 months agoI try to whitelist a specific chatgpt conversation, and sometimes it does let me onto the site, but oftentimes it doesn't and says "chatgpt.com is blocked". Yes, I know it is, but this specific chat isn't.

There's probably a solution available. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 15548549, 3 months agoit worked to an extent... i used it for character.ai and it didn't actually block the chat after the time unless i reloaded the page which i wasnt generally doing. it DID work when i was MAKING a character and destroyed all my work. so check the time if youre doing something like that because it will not stop to warn you about your unsaved work, it will completely bypass that. definitely my fault, but something i never even considered until it was too late

- Rated 4 out of 5by Kaleidoughscope, 7 months agoA little unintuitive when compared to other popular addons like Ublock Origin.
When I am on the actual site and want to block it immediately, I am forced to go fiddle in the settings page which is full of things I don't care about.
Perhaps if it installed a more prominent button somewhere on the toolbar, it would be easier to use.
Other than that, LeechBlock works just fine for my needs. - Rated 4 out of 5by danielbr93, 10 months agoThe habit of opening a tab with CTRL + T, typing in "twitter" and pressing enter is still a thing, but with this extension, I might get rid of it.
Even after just a week, I notice how many more hours I save with it.
Not every hour turns into a productive one, but it's definitely better than endlessly scrolling social media or watching the 14th YouTube video for the day.
Some critcism and feedback:
1. The UI for the options is okay.
1.1 A more modern UI would be neat
1.2 Minimalistic/advanced view - making it easier and less overwhelming for people to get started
1.3 More "?" that when hovered over show explanations.
2. Pre-made examples for time and amount of hours for a certain period
2.1 Provide a short quiz "How often do you think do you waste time?" or "How much time do you want to save?" and depending on the 3-5 potential answers, the extensions sets up the most common settings.
3. Automatically suggest the most common websites to block. - Rated 4 out of 5by TreBrock, a year ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Addons_Averageenjoyer, 2 years agoIt is great since I can optimize so many things, and is quite simple and straightforward. But there are some settings that I don't fully understand.
