About this extension
HyperFetch is a modern download manager companion for Chrome that seamlessly sends your downloads to the HyperFetch desktop application for faster, more reliable downloads.

Instead of relying on the browser's built-in downloader, HyperFetch hands downloads over to the desktop app, where files can be downloaded using multiple simultaneous connections, improving download speeds while providing advanced controls such as pause, resume, queues, and automatic file organization.

🚀 Multi-threaded Downloads
Download files using multiple connections for improved speed and reliability.

⏯ Pause & Resume
Pause downloads at any time and resume them later without starting over.

📺 Download HLS (.m3u8) Streams
Detect compatible media streams on supported websites and download them directly through HyperFetch.

📂 Automatic File Organization
Automatically organize downloads into categories such as Videos, Documents, Programs, Music, and Compressed Files.

📋 Queue Management
Manage multiple downloads with built-in queues, priorities, and scheduling.

⚡ Browser Integration
Send downloads from Chrome directly to HyperFetch with a single click.

🔒 Privacy First
HyperFetch communicates only with the locally running desktop application. Your downloads are processed on your own computer—no accounts, cloud services, or user tracking are involved.

The HyperFetch desktop application must be installed and running.

Developer comments
HyperFetch needs its free desktop app for Windows, and the app has to be running:
https://github.com/tanumay-deb/HyperFetch/releases/latest

The first time, the app asks "Pair Firefox with HyperFetch?" and shows a four-digit code. Allow it if this add-on shows the same code. That needs app 2.6.0 or later; with an older app, paste the token from the app's Settings > Browser into the add-on's popup.
