About this extension
Hopper has one purpose: to convert, trim and save video and audio files on the user's own computer. The user chooses a file, or pastes a direct link to a media file, or clicks once to list the direct media links already on the page they are viewing. Hopper converts or trims that media with the FFmpeg build shipped inside the package and saves the result through the browser's normal download. No account, server or upload is involved. Every permission and every line of code serves this one purpose: there is no second feature, no background monitoring of pages, no analytics, no advertising and no data collection.
