It rarely works on the sites I'd like it to work on, and even when it does it constantly pops up telling me it can save me money only for every single discount code to fail.
Probably just an addon used to track analytics of online shoppers. Nothing more. Might save you a couple bucks somewhere down the road, but not enough to be worth the headache. - Rated 1 out of 5by kftX, a month agoLike most people here, I've noticed the PayPal tomfoolery afoot. Now it even tries to force you to link or use a linked PayPal account to do something as basic as logging in. Stay away from this trash. Used to be amazing. Not so much now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by scarecrow, a month agoI was trying to uninstall the extension through my settings, due to privacy concerns, and it literally would not work and would re-enable itself somehow. I had to manually go into my Firefox profile files and delete the entire Honey extension folder to get it to finally uninstall from my browser. Highly recommend avoiding this mess!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18443524, 2 months agoI got this extension since people I trust recommended it. Without ever spending it, my gold balance vanished. And no matter how much I try the coupons never work - and the "earn gold for this purchase" never deposits a single piece of gold. I've been at 0/1000 for over a year now despite regularly shopping and being told I had a lot coming from my Christmas purchases in 2022 and 2023. Never seen a single gold.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Lazerus101, 3 months agoUsed to be a great plugin, now its just a time waster and data thief.
None of the codes it suggest work, which slows down your checkout on sites. Plus goodness only knows how much personal data they farm. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18352178, 4 months agoI've used Honey for years and something's changed. I've tried 10 times over the last 5 months to redeem my points for gift cards, which never arrive. I've contacted Honey at least 5 times via chat, email and Twitter. No response or help. Chatbot crashes and freezes every time. Total scam company.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 12524297, 4 months agoNot a single site I've gone to has had Honey do anything. It is a waste of space and wouldn't be surprised if it is just farming your data.

- Rated 1 out of 5by yoohoo, 7 months agoScamware/Spyware. I've had this extension for well over 2 years now and it's slowly turned into a useless add-on that only spies on my transactions and history. The coupon codes don't work and it dramatically affects browser performance for no real benefit. I actually forgot I had it installed. The first few months it actually seemed useful. That time has long since passed. It was bought out by Paypal so it'll be yet another data miner with no real actual use except for invading your privacy. As Firefox is one of it not the last privacy based browsers, it becomes useless if you install garbage like this.
- Rated 1 out of 5by dylfitt, 9 months agoThe app would not let me add anything to the droplist. I would click "Add to droplist" then it asked me to select the size and style of the item I wanted, which was not possible as the dropdown boxes did not work.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18135424, 9 months agoNone of the codes work, and it reset my order.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 16783020, 9 months agojust scans your purchases, sells the data, and tells you you're getting the best deal. garbage scamware
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18083662, 10 months agoHad this for about 5 years, maybe once has a coupon worked - all they do is sell your data, don't bother with this

- Rated 1 out of 5by MrDrLiviu, a year agoThis extension was good at the begining but now it will ignore the good promo codes just to put their own promo codes or afiliate codes, best example of this is Gamersupps store, there are over 100 codes that give 10% off and many that give 15% off even free international shipping ones but honey will insist that the only code they have for that store is their own "HONEY" for 5% off, honey has become a scummy bussines and it makes me sick that they are actively ignoring whats best for the user just to fill their agenda. Scum
- Rated 1 out of 5by User, a year agoIt's search engine is absolute garbage, half the time the emailed recommendations aren't at all what I've shown an interest in, and for the places I shop, it either doesn't find any deals, finds invalid/expired deals, and after all that I don't get the gold credit for anything, even with big sites. I guess I'll go back to not having all of my purchases tracked by a third-party data broker who is just selling all my info and acting like they're doing me a favor.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Gucciiz, a year agoHoney used to be my favorite plugin because it was so helpful in providing true pricing changes with online items.
But now, honey feels more like a tool for the websites in milking customers for more money.
For example, "Best Deal" used to be the best price in the last 30 days. But now EVERY price is the "Best Deal" even if there has been 2 price increases in the past few DAYS.
Honey is pointless and very deceiving.
NOT a recommended plugin for anyone. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18023094, a year agoDo not use Honey. All it does it farm your data and give you useless coupons that never work.
