GSTU-MultiTool by Lute

GSTU MultiTool is an auxiliary tool for working with the distance learning system of Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel (Belarus). It helps students organize study materials, analyze their mistakes while preparing for exams, and maintain a personal knowledge base of covered topics.

What the extension can do:

Contextual search across notes. When working with practice tests, the extension allows you to match current questions with your personal database of studied topics. If the wording or answer options overlap with your past notes, the system highlights them visually. This helps you navigate familiar concepts faster during self-assessment and material review.

Exporting results for analysis. The ability to save a detailed report of a completed attempt in a convenient Markdown format. The file includes questions, your choices, instructor comments, and final scores. It is an ideal tool for offline error analysis and creating structured study notes.

Automatic knowledge base management. After completing a practice session and reviewing the results, the extension automatically catalogs questions and reference answers by relevant disciplines. Your personal database is updated automatically, eliminating the need for manual copying.

Comfortable Reading Mode (Focus Mode). A feature that disables heavy and distracting scripts on test pages. This ensures stable browser performance, removes pop-up system windows, and allows you to freely highlight text to create your own notes.

Personal knowledge base. A dedicated interface for managing your study materials. It supports search, filtering by subject, rendering of mathematical formulas (LaTeX), as well as database export and import.

Controls:

All controls are accessible via the extension's pop-up window, the right-click context menu, or keyboard shortcuts:
- Ctrl+Shift+1 — toggle note search mode;
- Ctrl+Shift+2 — toggle comfortable reading mode;
- Ctrl+Shift+3 — open the knowledge base.

Security and Ethics:

The extension operates entirely locally, does not send data to third-party servers, and does not collect personal information.

The tool is designed to assist with independent study, organizing educational materials, and in-depth analysis of personal mistakes. The author encourages using the extension in accordance with the university's academic integrity rules and applying it exclusively for practice attempts and self-assessment.
