About this extension
GhostPrint protects your privacy by randomizing the browser signals that
trackers use to identify you across websites, a technique known as
fingerprint farbling, the same approach used by Brave Browser.
What it randomizes:
- Canvas output (2D and WebGL)
- AudioContext fingerprint
- Hardware concurrency (CPU core count)
- Browser plugin list
Each website sees a different, consistent fingerprint. Reload the page or
visit a new site and the values change, making long-term tracking across
domains unreliable.
Verified against EFF's Cover Your Tracks tool, which awards the "randomized
fingerprint" status when GhostPrint is active.
No data is collected. No external servers. Everything runs locally in your
browser.
