posted a day agoGreetings! We would like to state once more that the FDM extension only transmits the necessary data to launch downloads in the FDM client. The anonymous data usage alert was implemented purely to meet Mozilla's stipulations. If you find this unacceptable, you can always choose not to install the extension. We appreciate your understanding and hope you’ll consider this before leaving a lower rating. Thank you.- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13040629, 5 days agoForces you to opt into their "anonymous" data collection and if you decline, it uninstalls itself. Utter bullshit, if you ask me. Pay for IDM or Jdownloader with the adfree installer instead and look up how to disable the ads in it after.

posted a day agoHello! We are very sorry that the consent screen about data transfer have caused so many negative emotions among our users. However, as we've already explained, the FDM extension needs to transfer downloads to the FDM application in order to work. Without this transfer, the extension simply can’t function. Due to the latest Mozilla’s guidelines, this process now requires users to explicitly consent to the data transfer. If you find this requirement unacceptable, you can always uninstall the extension. We appreciate your understanding and hope you will consider this before leaving a lower rating. Thank you. - Rated 5 out of 5by Arman Async, 16 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18747101, 18 days agoDeclining the data collection = plugin gets uninstalled... Way to force people to agree to be able to continue to use your "product".. yeah I've read your explanation as to "why" but that doesn't justify it imo.. just point people to a github and let them install from a file instead, and tell mozilla to go suck it

posted 15 days agoHello! We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused by the new data‑transfer consent prompt. Per Mozilla’s latest guidelines, extensions must now request your explicit permission before passing download information to the FDM application, which is why you’re seeing this screen. We understand extra prompts can be frustrating. Thank you for your understanding, and please let us know how we can make this smoother for you. Developer response

- Rated 5 out of 5by MammadPRH, a month agoRight know as I'm typing this, the extension and the application work perfect, great new design, useful features, no cpu problems, no capture problems or anything else. I have no idea what some people talk about in the reviews, if you installed it and you have issues with the app or extension, it's most likely from your side, I'm completely okay with it, so if anyone looks for a more humane like review with details and not like bots, here's mine.
also don't just act like bots and write a straight up bad review, they have a great support, don't be lazy and reach to them. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18904684, a month ago
