About this extension
FocusFlare is a powerful Firefox extension that automatically detects and blurs distracting elements on any webpage – ads, sidebars, comment sections, recommended videos, social widgets, and more – letting you stay laser-focused on the main content.
Designed with a cyber-punk noir aesthetic, the popup is a sleek three-tab control panel (Control • Stats • Presets) where you can:
Fine-tune blur intensity (0-20 px) and opacity (0-100%) with real-time sliders.
Toggle the effect on/off with a single click.
View live statistics of how many distracting elements were found (ads, iframes, sidebars, etc.).
Save custom presets per domain (YouTube, news sites, forums…) and load them instantly.
