Although I have some difficulties to use regular expressions. The syntax normally used doesn't always seem to work, e.g. no underscores are recognized. Here a documentation or at least examples of the developer would be very helpful. It's clear that I don't want any documentation about RegExp at this point, I'm really not a beginner in this section. But this AddOn understands the syntax somehow differently or not at all. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 14210963, 6 years agoThe addon causes XML documents to display as a blank page

Pros:
It works nicely out of the box but, if you spend some time configuring it, you can make it populate fields of very specific types such as IBAN, VAT, street address, etc.
User interface has received some usability refinements and it's much better than it used to.
Cons:
Custom fields do not seem to work on textarea elements (you get generic Lorem ipsum anyway).
IT IS NOT A FREE ADD-ON. It's perfectly legit to charge for software, but this isn't mentioned anywhere in the add-on page. You need to check the extension's hope page to learn that the free version is restricted to 25 custom fields and paid versions are offered as SUBSCRIPTIONS. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14196276, 6 years ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13807447, 7 years agoIS AN EASY TOOL, IT HELPS ME TO FILL ALL MY FORMS WHEN IM TESTING A WEB APPLICATION. I WOULD BE NICE IF YOU COULD CREATE A CUSTOM FORMS FOR SPECIFIC PAGES.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 13717919, 7 years agoVery good. I didn't know this exists until one of my other extensions stopped working
- Rated 5 out of 5by ivo-yordanov, 7 years agoA must-have extension for any web developer! Extremely simple for configuring, yet very powerful! I love the way you can add custom fields and how you can configure them.
Note that simplicity comes with a price and what you cannot do is add different rules/configurations for different forms. Nevertheless this is a five star extension for me! - Rated 5 out of 5by arnofly, 7 years agoGreat!
It's an amazing job, thanks for this. Your extension is a must have for web developers! It save my time. I appreciate advanced options that understand RegEx. The best dummy form filler I tried since a long. Beautiful icon ;)
An "auto filler" could be a good option, like the old extension Autofill 3.6.1 by thdoan, that wait a short time after page is loaded, before automatically fill the form. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12697660, 7 years ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Vitog, 7 years agoSome basic instructions would be helpful. Form Filler only inserts random (dummy?) info, even though I have edited the custom fields. I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't figure it out.
Developer response
posted 7 years agoI am sorry you were not able to understand how to use the extension. The description does state clearly that it will fill random/dummy data. The custom fields allow you to customize how the dummy data is generated. - Rated 5 out of 5by Dane Rossenrode, 7 years agoI haven't used it much yet, but it seems to do exactly what I hoped it would.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Genious, 7 years agoIts really saving my time and time is money. I just missing a confirmation code that should receive to confirm an account while using random emails.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 12609462, 7 years agoThe only downside it's that I didn't manage to setup my forms, only works as a dummy test. If you make it to work with our own data would be great!
