About this extension
EvidenceShot is a Chrome extension for quickly saving evidence screenshots while testing web pages.
Features
- Capture instantly from the popup or keyboard shortcut
- Capture visible area, full page, or the main content column
- Stitch vertical screenshots up to the current scroll range end
- Save as PNG / JPEG / WEBP
- Optional timestamp and fixed bottom-left text overlays
- Shows the most recent mouse cursor position once when it can be captured
- Copies the captured image to the clipboard for pasting into Excel or other apps
- Popup automatically follows the browser light / dark theme
- Save to Chrome's default download folder
How to use
1. Click the extension icon
2. Review options in the popup
3. Click Capture This Tab or use the keyboard shortcut
Notes
- Scroll-stitch mode captures up to the scroll range end at the moment capture starts
- Content loaded later during capture is excluded
- This behavior is designed for stable output on infinite-scroll pages
- Check the popup or Chrome extension shortcut settings for the actual shortcut assignment

- No always-on broad site access
- Capture is initiated for the current tab by explicit user action
