Privacy policy for Dropweb Proxy
Dropweb Proxy by kinvsh
Dropweb Proxy does not collect, store on any server, transmit, or sell any personal data. No servers, no analytics, no tracking.
Data stored: only your local proxy profile — type (HTTP or SOCKS5), host, port, bypass list — and the on/off state, saved via the browser storage API on your device. It is never sent anywhere.
Permissions:
- proxy: apply your configured proxy to the browser's network requests.
- storage: save the proxy profile and on/off state locally.
- privacy: set the WebRTC IP-handling policy so your real IP cannot leak outside the proxy.
- alarms: schedule a local reachability check that only updates the toolbar icon.
No host permissions; no access to page content. When enabled, the extension routes requests through the proxy endpoint you configure (e.g. 127.0.0.1:7890); it does not operate that proxy, inspect traffic, or keep logs. No data is shared with third parties because none is collected.
