About this extension
Cryptor is a browser utility designed for quickly transforming text into various formats and simple ciphers. Built with a focus on speed and a cyberpunk aesthetic, it allows you to encode or decode information directly within your active tab using a popup, sidebar, or keyboard shortcuts.

Select any text on a webpage to instantly convert it between different modes. You can use the interface to preview the output, copy it to your clipboard, or replace the selected text on the page in real-time.

Many common cypher and encoding modes available. Including ROT13, Base64, Decimal and Morse Code conversion!

Display Options: Use it as a standard popup, a docked Sidebar, or a Pinned Window that stays open as you switch tabs.

Context Menu: Right-click any selection to access quick conversion actions.

Shortcuts: Encrypt or decrypt text in-place using customizable hotkeys.

History & Settings: Keep track of your last 10 operations and customize the UI font, size, and sidebar position.

A Note on Security,
Cryptor is a formatting and obfuscation tool, not a security suite. It is designed for developers, hobbyists, and those who enjoy classic cryptography.

Encoding is not Encryption: Some formats are used to change how data is represented, not to hide it. Anyone with a standard decoder can read this text instantly.

Classic Ciphers: Cipher modes use keys, they are not modern security standards. They should be used for fun, aesthetic purposes, or light obfuscation (like hiding spoilers).

Do not use Cryptor to secure sensitive personal data, passwords, or financial information.

Binary Encoding can mess with the small textboxes on the webpage since 1 character translates to 8.
