About this extension
Cipher Bridge connects Firefox to Cipher, a password manager for the KeePass format on the GNOME desktop. It fills usernames, passwords and one-time codes into login forms, offers to save new logins, and shows which entries match the current site.
The extension only ever talks to the Cipher application on the same machine, through the browser's native messaging. It contacts no server, collects nothing, and works offline.
Cipher Bridge is a fork of KeePassXC-Browser and speaks the same protocol. It installs alongside KeePassXC-Browser without conflict.
Requires the Cipher application: https://github.com/steeb-k/cipher
