- Rated 2 out of 5by Malmby, 9 days agoLoved Bitwarden since August 2016 and have been a subscriber and evangelist, but the new UI is atrociously bad. Too much empty space, giant text, enormous icons, and completely changed all workflows. The "Compact Mode" is still horrifically large. Waiting to see if they can salvage anything over the next few months, but I will be canceling my subscription and switching to Proton Pass if the Bitwarden UI remains anything at all like this redesign, as it is frustratingly inefficient.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Dmitry, 10 days agoDear developers, please, stop replacing the Firefox autocompletion by yours - it annoys almost every time when I am filling in some form, and your extension intrudes in a very unpleasant manner: Firefox shows the autocompletion, I choose an item, press Enter, and the your sluggish autocompletion somehow appears and fills the form with the wrong information. I want to enter information by myself, without your interception.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Daha, 10 days agoThe last update's fill button is impractical. Also the whole interface takes longer to load.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Paul Shryock, 10 days agoThe new UI is really bad. This extension used to be great, but now it's not very usable.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Stephen, 10 days agoThe new redesign makes this tool immensely frustrating to use. Swapping the fill and edit functions over makes no sense at all.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17422724, 10 days agoI've been using Bitwarden for 5 years+ now. Excellent product and worth every cent to me (for the Pro version). The UI change does require an adjustment (minor for me) but I think the interface is clearer (more explicit) now.
- Rated 1 out of 5by mwooden77, 10 days agoI am a long time Bitwarden customer and love the product. I even think the redesign is overall pretty good. That said, the new "Fill" button is an inexcusably horrible design choice and needs to be reviewed by the team.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Coldblackice, 10 days agoNew UI is awful! Autofill is broken, and the function to easily "Autofill this website" function that auto-populates the URL input is no longer there. Reverting ASAP to the old version.

- Rated 3 out of 5by MB, 10 days agoIt was phenomenal until the latest "redesign" or whatever they call it. Now it's extremely frustrating and difficult to use. I really hate this new theme.
- Rated 2 out of 5by budget princess, 10 days agoLoved it until the new UI replaced the "click to fill" functionality with a tiny postage stamp "fill" button. Reverted to the last version with a usable UI until they fix this bug.
- Rated 2 out of 5by FireFueled, 11 days agoLast update made UI worse. Now I have to click a small button to perform a function that was triggered by a big broad button.
Dumb decisions requested by dumb financiers, made by dumb designers, and approved by dumb managers. - Rated 5 out of 5by Madi Rayn, 11 days ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Steph, 11 days agoIt would be nice if one could more easily duplicate entries that belong to a collection. (After all the user with editorial rights always already has access to the whole information... it really should at least be adjustable by a setting)
- Rated 5 out of 5by TimonRoe, 11 days agoamazing extension and amazing service. big thanks to the bitwarden team!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18761043, 11 days agoI had to roll back to version 2024.11.2 and disabled the update.

- Rated 1 out of 5by CMDeml, 12 days agoFrom downloading it 2020 to November 2024 this has been a 5 star addon for me, but they've recently updated it and it is slower and buggy now.
This update also change the UI functionality. It use to work like this:
Clicking the entry auto-filled and there was a smaller button to the side to open details to edit.
Now its reversed. Auto fill, the most important function, is now a small button. Now its a small button to the side. I don't need to check the details every day, I need to auto fill.
The UI itself looks nice, but not nice enough to justify the performance hit, and the functionality changes are just bad user experience choice. - Rated 1 out of 5by AA, 12 days agoThis app was great but the latest UI update is laughably terrible. They went with something pretty at the expense of functionality. I sent a support email pointing some very basic questionable design decisions and got a reply back effectively telling me I'm a piece of shit and they already checked with their biggest sycophants that it was good design. Making the button that is pressed 90%+ of the time 20px wide was an extremely terrible idea.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Amitabha, 12 days agoWe appreciate this tool a lot as it facilitates our everyday life on the Internet. Until now it was very convenient to have it always open on the screen as a sidebar. As the new look now is much broader at the sidebar this is not possible anymore. That's a pity, but still Bitwarden will stay our favorite among the password managers.
- Rated 4 out of 5by Bart, 12 days agoFill button is a disaster, NEVER change muscle memory behavior! Maybe change the Fill button to Edit button. This will make the edit fuctionality quickly available. But the main goal for a password manager is filling user/password combination. So default behavior should be kept as it was before !
With this Fill disaster change reverted, 5 stars rating will also be restored
