About this extension
AutoFill Code makes email verification faster by finding recent verification codes in your Gmail inbox and filling them into compatible verification fields on websites.

When a website asks for a verification code, AutoFill Code detects the verification input, checks recent email messages for a matching code, and helps fill it automatically without requiring you to switch between your inbox and the website.

Privacy

Gmail access is read-only. AutoFill Code cannot send, modify, or delete emails.

Email content and verification codes are processed locally by the extension in your browser and are not sent to AutoFill Code servers or accessible to the developer.

The extension only accesses webpage content as needed to detect and interact with verification-code fields.

Features

Finds recent email verification codes
Detects different verification-code input formats
Automatically fills compatible verification fields
Uses Gmail read-only access
Does not require your Gmail password
Does not send email content or verification codes to the developer

For Privacy Policy, you should have one. A straightforward version for your extension would say:

AutoFill Code Privacy Policy

AutoFill Code accesses Gmail messages using Google's Gmail API with read-only permission for the sole purpose of identifying email verification codes.

Gmail messages, email addresses, verification codes, and webpage content used for verification-code detection are processed locally in the user's browser. This information is not transmitted to, stored by, or accessible to the developer.

AutoFill Code does not sell user data, use user data for advertising, or share user data with third parties.

The extension uses authentication information provided by Google OAuth to access Gmail on behalf of the user. It never receives or stores the user's Gmail password.

Website access is used only to detect verification-code fields and assist with filling verification codes.

Users can revoke AutoFill Code's Gmail access at any time through their Google Account permissions or by removing the extension.

For Notes to Reviewer, this is important. I’d enter:

AutoFill Code uses Google OAuth and the Gmail API with the gmail.readonly scope to find recent email verification codes.

Email content and verification codes are processed locally in the extension and are not transmitted to a developer-controlled server.

The extension requires access to webpages because verification-code forms can appear on arbitrary websites. Page access is used to detect compatible verification-code inputs and fill a code when appropriate.

On Firefox, Google authentication uses the browser identity OAuth flow.

To test the extension:

Install the extension.
Open the extension popup and connect a Google account.
Open a website that requests an email verification code.
Request a verification email.
The extension detects the recent code and offers/fills it in the verification form.
