Ambient Mode Blocker by Drogan

Many users on Reddit reported high GPU usage on Firefox with Ambient mode ON. Some even reported it automatically turns on after a while even when turning it off. This light weight extension aims to automatically turn off Ambient mode if it is ON. Currently it only works on Youtube
