Local execution model

The extension communicates with the locally installed AlphaCode application through Firefox native messaging.

The extension does not require a hosted browser automation service. Browser operations are performed through Firefox and the local AlphaCode bridge.

Depending on the workflow, AlphaCode may request access to page content, DOM information, screenshots, browser state, cookies, downloads, or other browser data needed to perform an explicitly requested operation.

Privacy

AlphaCode Browser Agent is designed as a local execution bridge between Firefox and the AlphaCode application.

Data accessed by the extension is used to perform browser operations requested by the user or by an authorized AlphaCode workflow. Data required by those operations can be passed through Firefox native messaging to the local AlphaCode application.

The extension does not need to operate a separate hosted browser service to perform its core browser automation functions.

Because AlphaCode can connect to configurable AI providers and other tools, users should review the privacy practices and configuration of the AlphaCode installation and any external provider used by their workflows.
