- by Anonymous user 92bq5r, 3 years agoRated 4 out of 5This add-on has great potential and I want to try it, but something is strange.
Even after I install, the install button remains available, as if I never installed it at all....when I did because it's in my add-ons.
I also see no button to switch on or off. I think this add-on is just not going through as installed. I wouldn't know why though. Never seen it happen before.
Developer responseposted 3 years agoHello King Fox
Thank you for installing Add HTTPS. I am sorry that it did not work for you. If you could let me know your OS, Firefox version and a screenshot of what you're seeing, it will help us a lot to find out what's going on and fix it.
I have just tried it on Firefox 54.0.1 (32-bit) on Windows and everything looks fine. Please share more details and help me reproduce the issue.
I have created an issue for this here: https://github.com/sanspace/add-https/issues/8 You can folow the conversation there too. Thank you.

A request to the developer to earn the coveted 5th star: Allow the toolbar button to toggle between the HTTPS and HTTP. That way, if HTTPS is not supported for a site, it makes it easy to switch back to HTTP.
Developer responseposted 4 years agoWhy didn't I think of that? I'll get started. Thank you so much for the comments and the suggestion.
EDIT: I have submitted the new version for review. It should be approved soon. If you would like to give it a try, please get the xpi from this repo: https://github.com/sanspace/add-https
I look forward to your feedback. Thanks.
UPDATE 06/25/16: It's now available in the gallery. Now, where is my 5th star? ;)
