This extension is intended for better readability of German webpages which make overextended use of the so called "Binnen-I". Binnen-Is are a phenomenon in German language, intended to show gender-parity in written texts - however in the eyes of many it is cluttering written language in an unnecessary way & it's not part of common spelling rules.
