- Rated 4 out of 5by John Doe, 2 hours agoI just tried this again after noticing that there was an update regarding permission management. Unfortunately, the result is disappointing—maybe even concerning for me.
Steps I took:
Firefox Add-on Page > Permissions & Data > “Access your data for all websites” → Unchecked, but it automatically re-checks after refreshing.
Summarizerrrr > Settings > FAB Domain Control → Set to Allowed Sites Only → youtube.com.
Summarizerrrr > Settings > General > “Access your data for all websites” → Unchecked. It stays unchecked for about 5 seconds, then automatically re-enables after refreshing.
I also tried unchecking both at almost the same time, but both permissions reactivate after a refresh.
As someone who was a victim of a previous add-on on the Firefox Add-on Store that requested “access to all sites” and was open-source, I cannot safely use this add-on. It’s really unfortunate because I genuinely love Summarizerrrr.
I know other trusted add-ons (MAL-Sync comes to mind for now; I’ll update this review with more intrusive ones after I check them) that are actually more functionally invasive than Summarizerrrr. However, they don’t list “Access to all data” under Required Permissions on their add-on page. Instead, they offer an optional “Access to all data” permission, which only activates if you explicitly grant it—and if granted, they can indeed access data on all websites. Why can’t Summarizerrrr adopt the same approach? - Rated 1 out of 5by Krackenn, 13 days agoError

Thank you so much for reporting this! I have just released a hotfix that resolves this scripting is undefined error.
Could you please update the add-on to the latest version and see if it's working for you now?
If it's fixed, I would really appreciate it if you'd consider updating your review. - Rated 5 out of 5by sojusnik, 24 days agoTried all add-ons with similar functionality and this is clearly the best. Works with common providers through an API and the whole add-on is even open-source!

This is not only a summarizer, is a whole customizable platform to leverage Gemini models to give you whatever you ask from them, It's the whole ordeal, the UX is spectacular, and the fact that it allows to deeply customize the system prompt for each scenario is a total win.
@Nguyên Lê man, you need to improve the description of this extension, try to give a better overview of it on the first lines before the "Read more" cutoff in the addons page.Developer response

I will update the description and add new screenshots in the next version, which is planned for early September (the extension is still being improved every day).
The new version 2.0 will also include a Floating Action Button (FAB) to activate the standalone summarizer directly within the tab, making it usable on Android phones and tablets. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17741451, 5 months agoXài rất mượt, dùng rất ổn, 5 sao cho bác tác giả!
