This didn't fix my issue of evil Google breaking Google Voice on FF desktop ver. since early May 2024 and I wish somebody would also address this prob.

Worked great until recently, when I get on a Google search with many pictures/products it's freezing the page instantly until refreshed and then freezes again

While this add-on does what it should, it also causes breakage that is not just cosmetic. When typing in the search field, the screen is scrollable, which does not happen in Chrome. This can cause the top of the screen--where most webpages have their menu--to be off screen even when scrolled all the way up.

I've seen such breakage on many other pages; unknown if this causes them outside Google's platforms. Currently testing with a clean install of Firefox and only this add-on.

Too bad it hasn't been updated for nearly 2.5 years...

This was needed in a previous version. It is not strictly necessary in the latest implementation, so I have filed a bug report to resolve it: https://github.com/wisniewskit/google-search-fixer/issues/17

Still can't install this add-on on Firefox for Android (Beta) even using the link specified above. Works fine on Nightly.
