by Sirmontegu, 4 years agoExcellent add-on for bookmarking specific pages while making notes about them. I manage my life in Markdown files (notes/todos/etc). I use this to quickly grab any page I might want to come back to later. It grabs the entire content for most sites, so the entire text is searchable from my file system. The front/back-matter features are also super helpful for adding meta-data.

As Microsoft decided not to offer OneNote Web Clipper on Firefox anymore (without valid reason, as it worked perfectly), I decided to switch my personal notes to Obsidian and use this extension to replace the OneNote Web Clipper.
4 stars instead of 5, because I think there is still room for improvement (UX-wise). But nevertheless I can warmly recommend this.

- Rated 4 out of 5by blixa, 5 months agoI love this addon but in the newest version (3.3.0), the "copy selection as Markdown" does not work anymore. Nothing is copied to the clipboard. I have rolled back to the previous version (3.2.1) in the meantime. I hope this can be fixed. I am running on Windows 10 if that makes any difference.
